WORLD MIX Reggae Band is next to rock Reggae Tuesdays, February 16, 2010 at the Carolina Kitchen Bar & Grill!
The name "World Mix" came about when a group of talented musicians decided to put their knowledge and musical passion into a mix. Each member hails from a different cultural background: Walker on (lead vocals) born in America by Jamaican parents, Sugie Chin on ( Lead & backup vocals) born in America by Jamaican parents, Taharqa on ( keyboards & vovals ) from St Lucia, Mike on (drums) from Trinidad, Marvo on ( bass & vocals) from Trinidad , Tommy on (rhythm & lead guitar & backup vocals) hails from Jamaica. The band was form in September 2009.
The entire group were influenced by several reggae personalities selecting clean lyrics and singing positive songs. Their goal is to entertained both young and mature audiences, bringing positive vibes, warmth, love, and unity to all.

We're ready for this magical night to take away the cabin fever we've had to endure as we bring you the ultimate warmth of reggae music! The people have spoken and declared PROVERBS Reggae Band the winner to perform for the Valentines Day Edition of Reggae Tuesdays scheduled February 9, 2010.
Plans are underway to make this Pre-Valentines Day event one you'll remember and a special warm-up for the BIG day! We celebrate LOVE everyday of course, however this day will be electrified with great musical vibrations from PROVERBS Reggae Band and a special touch from the Reggae Tuesday team to make the evening enchanting.
Ladies, please wear red to receive a special gift and gentlemen, I encourage you to come dressed to please, as we'll have something special for you as well.
Again, CONGRATS to PROVERBS Reggae Band who received a whopping 55% of the total votes, followed by IMAGE Band with 27% of the votes and World Mix was third with 6% of the votes. We appreciate all of you who took time to vote for your favorite band and also for all the bands who participated.
